INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH AND PLANNING
The Division for Institutional Research and Planning answers all university related information requests and provides the necessary institutional insight for decision making on all levels of management.
Founded on 1 Januarie 2008 after the amalgamation of the Division Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, and the Division Strategic Planning, the division has the following functions:
1. Higher education policy and trends environment scanning
2. Undertake institutional research projects
3. Generate general information reports
4. Handle ad hoc information requests
5. Manage the HEMIS-office
6. Co-ordinate enrolment planning
7. Co-ordinate academic planning
8. Co-ordinate institutional quality assurance
9. Develop and manage the information cafeteria
10. Maintain information management systems
11. Liaise with Education Department, HESA, CHE/HEQC and other statutory bodies
12. Participate in national work groups and committees
