Postgraduate Programmes

The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, established in 1925, is the largest of the ten faculties of the University. It consists of the following eight departments: Accounting, Business Management, Economics, the Graduate School of Business, Industrial Psychology, Logistics, School of Public Leadership, and Statistics and Actuarial Science.

The departments offer postgraduate programmes of the highest quality. Postgraduate diplomas, Honneurs. Magister, MPhil, and PhD programmes are offered in a wide selection of subject areas.  In specialist fields such as Accounting and Actuarial Science the criteria adhered to include national and international accreditation by professional institutes and candidates' performance in external examinations. The Graduate School of Business, for example, has the internationally sought-after accreditations of EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AMBA (Association of MBAs). In other disciplines, excellent quality of tuition is ensured by cooperation agreements; these cover matters such as the exchange of students and teaching staff, and joint research projects with internationally recognised academic institutions.
