The Centre for Evidence-based health care (CEBHC) is based at the SU Faculty of Health Sciences and resides in the Department of Interdisciplinary Sciences.
The CEBHC aims
to develop, teach and promote evidence-based health care (EBHC) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels of all healthcare professionals;
to provide EBHC support and resources to healthcare professionals to help maintain the highest standards of healthcare practice; and
to enhance the use of best evidence by government, non-governmental organizations and the private sector in healthcare policy and practices.
Core activities of the CEBHC include research, teaching and knowledge translation.
