Amanda has a BSc, majoring in Physiology and Psychology from the University of South Africa (UNISA), and is currently doing her Honours in Psychology by correspondence through the same University. She completed her MSc under the supervision of Prof Joss du Toit investigating ischaemia-reperfusion damage of the heart. She is currently preparing her Doctoral studies.
