STEP 1: Take not of the closing dates for applications:
- Selection programmes for Health Sciences: 31 May - Selection programmes for other faculties: 30 June - Nonselection programmes (accommodation excluded): 30 September - Accommodation in one of the University Residences: 30 June Postgraduate students must contact the relevant Faculty Secretary for closing dates of postgraduate applications.
STEP 2: Apply via e-application or get the prescribed form
Request it by mail from: Admissions, Stellenbosch University, Private Bag X1, MATIELAND 7602 NB:If the form is requested via mail the following information must please accompany the request: Personal Information (Name and surname) and Contact information (Full postal or e-mail address).
Personally collect the form from: The Enquiries Desk, Administration Building A, Stellenbosch.

STEP 3: Complete the form
STEP 4: Pay the Application fee
Please note: Application fees can be paid with the e-application process, by cheque, postal order or cash. The payments can be made personally at the University cashiers, or sent per mail. Cash payments must be made in person. (More on payment options).
STEP 5: Send the completed form and required application fee to: (or proof of payment) to:

STEP 6: And after the application has been received? Receipt is acknowledged and every applicant:
Is notified by mail of the receipt of the application;
Is assigned a unique number for identification purposes, your student number (if the University hasn't already given it to you);
