HISTORY AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Responsa Meridiana is the legal journal published under the auspices of the University of Stellenbosch and the University of Cape Town. The primary objective of the journal is to provide students with the opportunity to publish legal articles, providing them with an international readership, without the stringent submission requirements set by contemporary publications. This however does not mean that the articles published by Responsa Meridiana are sub-standard articles, on the contrary Responsa Meridiana prides itself with being a journal of exceptional standard, with articles being used in countless court decisions. Subscribers to the journal include judges, advocates, attorneys, lecturers and students. The journal is housed in all of the world's major universities.
